Yukihyo is of a race in which the males require emotional bonds with their females in order to control their aggressive tendencies. He finds that bond in Teagan. While exploring the Galaxic Expanse with the crew of Tora, Teagan discovers a universe full of beauty and danger, true love, and her own personal worth.

Teagan Alaric Montgomery Lee has travelled through Galaxic space, married the man of her dreams, and gained the loving family she always has needed. However, news of her father's capture and execution by the Parvac Empire throws Teagan's life into turmoil. Attempting to regain control of her life and avoid Commander Bosh becomes more challenging when the consuls extend an invitation to Princess Probus to visit the Laconian Sector. During the diplomatic tour, the lives of Teagan and her loved ones are placed in jeopardy when she is abducted by a small army of hybrid mercenaries with nefarious plans of their own. As the hybrid mercenaries chase Teagan through the galaxies, the Parvac Empire and Galaxic Militia will have to work together to save her from the criminal mastermind controlling the hybrids.

When the Parvac Empire's Imperial family vacations on Thalassa, Thunderdrop, an Arachnean Silk spider, begins an adventure of his own. However, his adventure isn't limited to the jungle. Instead, as he travels across the galaxies, he learns important lessons about family, loyalty, and revenge. This novella is told from Thunderdrop's point of view. His adventures coincide with the events of The Inquisitors.

Ordered to discover the source of the alien technology, Ensign Probus and her team put the skills, which they've learned at the Inquisitors Academy to use. Their search takes them from the Laconian Sector and across Galaxic space. However, they aren't alone in their mission. It seems as though a subtle consciousness draws them forward, but is it an alien consciousness or the work of the Mad Ones? Teagan's husbands decide to facilitate her sense of power and personal self-worth by teaching her what they know and treating their beloved Imperial Princess like as much of an equal as they can, but not everyone has the same purpose. Captain Espanoza, Teagan's former hero, does everything she can to undermine her newfound confidence and her efforts.
