Simeon's Promise

Honoring a seemingly impossible promise to his recently deceased parents, to forgive and learn to love, a soul the world screams that he should hate with the totality of his being; Simeon Carver, a black man falsely damned to a hellish fate, will walk out of Fort Leavenworth Penitentiary this day, straight into the company of the Secretary of State's daughter, Nadine Porter, the very woman who, while suffering from mental instability more than fourteen years prior, fabricated the terrible deception that robbed him of his life-and liberty.
