I Have a Photograph
by Henrietta Alten West
Part 1 of the Reunion Chronicles Mysteries series
Old friends gather in Bar Harbor for a reunion. They've made it to age seventy-five this year and are ready for a party. Who knew that their annual celebration of camaraderie, food and wine, laughter, and memories would turn into an adventure of murder and revenge? They have all led exciting, even dangerous, lives. Does someone from the past want to punish one of them... or all of them? Snakes and skunks are where they shouldn't be. Sports equipment and handicap ramps are, sabotaged. Kidnappings and explosions are afoot. Russians and lobsters are everywhere. This holiday is not for the faint of heart! Will these senior citizens survive the treachery and make it to next year's reunion?

Preserve Your Memories
by Henrietta Alten West
Part 2 of the Reunion Chronicles Mysteries series
After surviving the previous fall's harrowing adventure in Maine, the Camp Shoemaker group of friends has gathered at the fabulous Penmoor Resort in Colorado Springs. They are looking forward to relaxation, rest, and lots of time to visit with each other, but before they have been together for twenty-four hours, the past of one of the members of the group catches up with him. A desperate, bleeding man staggers on to their tour bus and begs to be, hidden because he says his life is in danger. In one morning, three murderers converge on the hotel's elegant day spa. One person dies. Stolen art work, a soldier from the Soviet-Afghan war, a deranged and disgruntled former employee, a dangerous blizzard, and random attacks from every direction conspire to keep these senior citizens from having the drama-free vacation they'd hoped to enjoy in the Colorado mountains.
In this sequel to I Have A Photograph, unanswered questions are, addressed, and complex Russian connections become clear. Disguises, confusing identities, an anonymous corpse, and a near-death threat from hypothermia remind these older people that they are never quite free from their past exploits.
