Phantom Frost

He's on a quest to find himself...before they do. Shivurr remembers little before the Bodhi Institute, the secret government installation where he's been held and studied like a lab rat for the past decade. It hasn't been all bad, though, for a soda-pop-loving sci-fi fanboy, especially in 1983. He's got all the TV, movies and arcade games he could ever want. But lately, flashes of his forgotten past have invaded his dreams: visions of an ancient chamber where the mysteries of his origin may finally be resolved. Compelled to find it, Shivurr embarks on a quest, fleeing the facility in the dark of night. Escaping is easy; the Bodhi Group guards didn't dream he'd ever try. The Nevada desert is dangerous for warm bloods; for a snowman, it's pretty much suicide, even for one with his seemingly magical command of frost and ice. Hunted by Bodhi Group agents, keeping to the shade when he can find it, he's determined to survive; he's got a feeling the world may depend on it. And, if he doesn't, well, everyone melts eventually, right?

Sunshine's harsh for snow-based life forms, but he loves the ocean view. Besides, he's got cold drinks, a hat full of his stolen memories, and more importantly-he's free. Free of experiments. With the clock ticking, Shivurr must embark on a new journey of discovery, delving deeper into a world of gods, uncovering secrets, old and new, even as he continues to recover and evolve. Wherever the adventure takes him, he'll have friends at his side, and he'll need them and more to succeed. Against the gods, demons, and secret agents opposing him, even a frost god may not be enough . . .

From behind the Iron Curtain, the Eurus, a faction of renegade gods, have been plotting humanity's cataclysmic subjugation via the Allfrost, the climate-altering machine he's sworn to protect. And they've had years to corrupt it, unhindered . . . because of the Bodhi Group. With time running out, Shivurr and an unlikely ally are heading to Berlin to investigate mysterious abductions that may be related. But more than anything, it's reports of midsummer snowfalls that have him hopeful that the key to stopping the Eurus can be found in the process. Going unnoticed in a city crawling with secret agents is going to be a challenge, but knowing the stakes, he's ready to do whatever is necessary. Because-snowman or not-a nuclear winter isn't his idea of a good time.
