In the technologically advanced islands of the Candescent Hemisphere, life moves at a frantic pace for everyone...except Neko Con Carne. A legendary heroine with the power to manipulate fire, Neko has saved the world more times than she can count, but in times of peace, she prefers the company of her unfinished chess games and a very long nap.Her slumber is rudely interrupted when Aoi Rose, a panicked young feline, crashes into her office pleading for help. Before a mechanical werewolf tears through her door, and Aoi is snatched away into the smog-choked skies.Neko soon discovers that Aoi is just the latest in a string of kidnappings targeting famous and talented felines. The trail leads straight to the Acheronian Hemisphere (a toxic, robot-infested wasteland ruled by the diabolical Dr. Kale).Partnering with her long-suffering associate in the police force, the cynical fox Kuro Sting, Neko must embark on a high-stakes infiltration to put an end to the injustice.

Alongside her overly-optimistic roommate Aoi Rose, Neko must face off against the reigning Heavyweight Tag-Team Robot Wrestling champions in a charity event where "blood involved" isn't just a figure of speech.But the kitchen is the least of their worries. From the shadows of the Acheronian Hemisphere, the nefarious Dr. Kale is cooking up a much deadlier plot. Enter Clam Starker... a suit-wearing, rocket-launcher-toting mutant orca assassin with a simple contract...end Neko's existence before happy hour.

A peaceful afternoon of exploiting cheat codes is violently interrupted when the a seagull with a malfunctioning jetpack...crashes through Neko's office window. Is he a casualty of a glitchy flight, or the first strike from the legendary "Anti-Cheater Guild"?Before Neko and her relentlessly upbeat partner Aoi can even finish testing if the bird brain is actually dead, they are summoned to the heart of the government. Their long-time nemesis, the "smudge-headed" Dr. Kale, has taken a famous feline harpist hostage with a bizarre demand... he needs Neko to become a professional ghost hunter.

The notorious Dr. Kale has hijacked the airwaves to announce a "Groovy Birthday Party" at his newly seized TV studio. While Neko would prefer to sleep through the madness in a four-hour shower, she and Aoi are thrust into a chaotic journey that begins with a narrow escape from a murderous oxygen-deprivation cult leader and ends in the high-stakes world of televised entertainment.

It was supposed to be a peaceful day off in the glowing utopia of Heartlight Square. All heroine Neko Con Carne and her loyal sidekick Aoi wanted was to pick up a copy of the modern cat classic, Birds Outside of the Window, from Kenny's Good Tapes. But in a city where the peace is as fragile as a VHS ribbon, a simple trip to the video store is never just a trip to the video store.Enter the malevolent Dr. Kale. In a foul mood and sporting a questionable disguise, the mad scientist has staged a hostile takeover of Kenny's establishment. Along with his robotic minions Mig, Socket, and the "magician machine" Fidenzio Orsino, Kale has replaced reasonable retail with a murderous new business model... pay fifty-six billion dollars per tape, or pay with your life.

In Heartlight Square, "Justice Incarnate" usually looks like the great heroine Neko sleeping at her desk while her sidekick Aoi attempts to microwave a tin can of tuna. But the peace is shattered when a formal request from the Badger's Union of Sanitation Consent (BUSC) spirals into a full-blown "badger uprising".However, the trash-tier rebellion is only a warm-up for a far more sinister threat. The city's most notorious criminals...the mad Dr. Kale, the greedy Commander Penny-Snatch, and the nervous cultist Drez Holden...have seized control of the city racetrack. They've launched the Neon Carnage Circuit, a no-rules death race where the stakes are higher than ever...the losers don't just lose the race, they lose their organs.
