It's rumored that every December he returns to haunt the woodland around the asylum, seeking to add new members to his supernatural family. January's sure it's an urban legend, but when new victims show up with no logical explanation for their deaths, Conjure Ink sends her in to investigate. Now, January must not only navigate the new life she's trying to build, but the paranormal beasties she's sent out to explore, as well as a hot new neighbor, who seems to be hiding a shadowed past of his own.

At the same time, she's thrown into one of the spookiest hauntings she's ever experienced when a local restaurant suddenly falls prey to ghosts seeking revenge. Will she be able to get rid of her houseguest and keep the ghosts from killing their latest target, or will this job prove too much for January as she faces the big four-one?

As January delves into her family history, she discovers dark secrets about her great-grandmother Colleen and those secrets threaten everything she ever thought she knew about her heritage. Now, with her confidence already on shaky ground, January takes on a case with her friend Ari. Hired by a friend to discover whether their child is really their child, January and Ari delve into the Mystic Woods, looking for the answer. Their investigation leads them down the rabbit hole of magical intrigue, unrequited love, and into the world of the Woodlings, where January finds her worldview at risk, as well as her life.

Summer has been kind to January, work has involved a lot of quiet research, she's helped Ari revamp her wedding plans, and settled into a comfortable routine with Killian. That all comes to a screeching halt when autumn crashes in like a bull in a china shop. January finds herself plagued with a frightening ghost when renovations literally uncover a skeleton in a hidden room. She must discover who the dead man was and why his skeleton is in her house before she can exorcise the spirit, not an easy task in itself. On top of that, at work an even more serious issue arises when Conjure Ink's new client is killed by the Whatcom Devil, an urban legend come to life. And now, it's stalking January. Can Conjure Ink manage to find and destroy the creature before it manages to claim January as its next victim?

The holidays are here, and this year, they're deadly... It's my first Thanksgiving back in Moonshadow Bay, and everything is hunky-dory until the Witches Guild assigns me a research project for the upcoming Winter Solstice Festival. Not only do I melt down my computer, but I download a demon who ends up stuck in my house. But Tarvish the Funtime demon is the least of my worries when my grandmother asks my BFF and me to go undercover. A magical pyramid scheme has moved into town and it's siphoning more than money off its recruits. Will we be able to take it down, or will the leader of the cult manage to silence us for good?

Just when Killian and I are planning our vacation, Cupid strikes Moonshadow Bay. But it's not exactly love at first sight for the victims, and we at Conjure Ink have our hands full. Someone's attacking townsfolk, shooting them with arrows that are enchanted by a love potion. Not only are the victims hurt, but they fall into obsessive love-a love that can be dangerous. And in the middle of this, a restaurant that used to be a funeral home is having ghostly encounters of the harrowing kind. I just hope we can take care of all of this before Killian and I head off on vacation to celebrate Valentine's Day.
