Mermaid Adventures

Jill is a 13-year-old mermaid raised all her life to be a 'normal' American girl. She lives in Boulder, Colorado and swims on the local swim team. On the night following her 13th birthday, she unexpectedly finds herself in the Pacific Ocean after a dip in the pool, in the gym she calls home. While Jill seeks to distance herself from the freak she's become, she saves a drowning man, gets wisdom from an eagle and rides a shark. Somewhere during the journey, she discovers that being a mermaid isn't so bad, as long as she gets to be one with her friends.
