Part 1 of the Loner's Niche series
Summary
In a world filled with couples, regardless of gender or species, there are always a few misfits that don't quite belong. In this story, there are at least five, if not more, significant misfits that finally create their own niche, the Loner's Niche, where outgoing narcissists aren't welcomed.
The five individual stories that'll be intertwined are as follows and begin with Kiernan Prawn, and he's an exciting person indeed. Please keep reading for more details on what comes next.
Kiernan Prawl's Tale
The first story will focus on Kiernan Prawl, an individual who is non-binary and is proud of the fact. He's also a hot-tempered delinquent who'll pick a fight anytime. However, he does have a few friends he gets along with even if he doesn't see them all that often; they're involved in different schools and activities than him.
Kiernan accepts that he doesn't fit in with his group. While his birth certificate shows him as male, he sometimes goes around as a female just to cut loose and have fun.
When Kiernan roams around as "Kila," he has a freedom that doesn't come to him as Kiernan, and yet he is still just as lonely. One night, he goes to a new club recommended by a drinking buddy. While skittish because the location is in one of the worst neighborhoods, Kiernan is still tempted to go, but not as his male self. He does send messages to a few close individuals, letting them know where he went, just on the possibility of something going down. He doesn't anticipate trouble when going as Kila, a mistake Kiernan hadn't realized would land him in a fiery pit of pain.
That'll also be the actual test of friendship. Will Kiernan's friends come to aid or leave the individual to fate? That'll be answered eventually.

The five individual stories that'll be intertwined are as follows and begin with Kiernan Prawl, and he's an exciting persona indeed. While he is entangled in a situation beyond his wildest expectations, Anya wonders why she even bothered to get involved in this mess.
The second story is about a female, Anya Brody, recovering from a horrible tragedy. She also has some unexpected secrets that slowly get revealed when she's one of the first to learn of Kiernan's predicament. While she does accept Kiernan's issues with his male identity, Anya hadn't anticipated the possibility that she'd become so close to him that he'd reach out to her when he got into trouble.
Not only that, but she's too familiar with the area he wound up in for comfort. It is where her trauma has driven her out to try and overcome her past. Now, she not only has to face her past, but she'll have to decide whether to become deeply involved with Kiernan and the others or remain a superficial acquaintance that is only good for the occasional chitchat in passing.

Part 3 of the Loner's Niche series
In a world filled with couples, regardless of gender or species, there are always a few misfits that don't quite belong. In this story, there are at least five, if not more, significant misfits that finally create their own niche, the Loner's Niche, where outgoing narcissists aren't welcomed.
The five individual stories that'll be intertwined are as follows and begin with Kiernan Prawl, and he's an exciting persona indeed. While he is entangled in a situation beyond his wildest expectations, Isaac is given a painful lesson in dealing with sisters that cross boundaries and lines he would no longer put up with.
Isaac Kin's Internal Devils
The third story is about Isaac, who is one of the triplets. They share an unusual trait of being able to switch bodies, which can be a little awkward since he's the only male of the three triplets. Not only that, but he's the only one who is friends with Kiernan; his sisters despise Kiernan because he's so awkward around them and other people.
However, when dealing with Kiernan's situation, Isaac faces his internal devil (his sisters' determination to stop him from becoming involved deeply with Kiernan). He permanently severs the connection that allowed him to switch bodies with his sisters. Only time will tell whether or not that helps him give Kiernan a hand.

Summary
In a world filled with couples, regardless of gender or species, there are always a few misfits that don't quite belong. In this story, there are at least five, if not more, significant misfits that finally create their own Niche, the Loner's Niche, where outgoing narcissists aren't welcomed.
Mesala Jenelle's Missing Siblings
As someone who never fit in anywhere because of her odd circumstances at birth, Mesala was lucky to even have lived as long as she had. She's missing a few fingers and toes. She looks more like an anthromorph that didn't quite make it to an entire humanoid appearance. However, not even Mesala can say what she should've become as a creature or human. She has all the usual attributes of eyes, nose, ears, teeth, and hair that a human possesses, but a few other extras were added, such as fox ears and a cat's tail. Thus, she's wary of showing her appearance and tends to remain veiled from head to toe.
Currently, she's on a mission to find two missing siblings. She has reason to believe their disappearance is linked with Kiernan's. Although Mesala doesn't know Kiernan all that well, she has more in common with him than any others. Therefore, she's going to continue searching for Kiernan. If anything, she believes that if she finds Kiernan, she'll find her missing siblings. Mesala's lost siblings, two slightly younger brothers, eventually pull Isaac's reluctant sisters into the hunt.
