Heroics

When superheroes and supervillains alike begin disappearing from Caotico City, the teenage heroes of Heroics find themselves at a loss for what to do. They're used to picking up petty criminals after school and stopping bank robberies on weekends, and they fear they're out of their league. With more and more disappearances reported every day, the Heroics team will find itself being led into a dangerous game, where the darkest secrets of those they trust will be out to get them, and allies they thought they knew will become their worst enemies. Kate Oliver, the sixteen-year-old leader of the Heroics field team, will struggle to keep her team from falling apart as they fight amongst themselves, while the three adult supervisors who make up the base team struggle with their own, more personal issues. With normal crime being quickly complicated by clones, mind control, and mad science, the entire team will need to find its footing, or risk losing more than just their unity.

Time may have passed for Caotico City, but that doesn't mean everything has remained peaceful: seemingly random murders are jeopardizing the city's trust in its superheroes, old enemies appear to be joining forces with new ones, and life has become even more complicated for the Heroics team. With their wounds still healing and the realization that sometimes the hardest challenges to overcome are human ones, even for superheroes, the now-adult members of Heroics face some of the toughest battles of their lives. Can they work together to restore order in Caotico City? Or will their unity finally crumble?

As the next generation of Heroics finds their place in the ranks, the original team braces itself for the inevitable next tragedy to strike. With the public still on edge, and camaraderie between Heroics and the Legion at an all time low, old members and new find themselves starting to clash on how to best protect Caotico City - and each other. While her family and friends struggle to unite, Aubrey Hamil finds herself being crushed by demons of her own, demons that will put her, everything, and everyone she loves directly in the line of fire.
