A continuous flow of drugs is flooding the streets of Marseille leading to the death of a tourist. Two French detectives, Genevieve Benoit and her partner Claude Lemieux find a clue to the shipments from a Scotland Yard investigation. While pursuing their suspects, they stumble across a link to an Algerian crime lord who has a dark past from the country's fight for independence. As the clues are found, Detective Benoit encounters an adversary in Nazim Aziz, the young protege' of the crime lord. In her haste to bring Aziz to justice, she stumbles across two escaped fugitives, one that dies in jail before she can get him to divulge his connection to Nazim and the drug trafficking. Anthony is a first generation American and native Californian, the son of Scottish immigrants. His father Peter was born in Glasgow and his mother Catherine was born in Edinburgh. Anthony's fraternal grandparents, Michael and Margaret were both born in Ireland.Anthony is married to his high school sweetheart, Mary, and has been blessed with two daughters, Rebekah and Jennifer.A product of a mixed education (part parochial and part public schools), he developed a thirst for reading early in his childhood, and took to writing fiction as an escape from his work as an Instructional Systems Designer.When not working on improving his writing, Anthony can be found on the local golf course, honing his game invented by his ancestors. French Detective Genevieve Benoit and her partner Detective (Captain) Claude Lemieux work to stem the tide of illicit drug trafficking that flows through Marseille. Along the way, they encounter an Algerian crime lord who is manipulating on activities in the city, attempting to thwart their every attempt to bring an end to the drug problem.
