An ordinary kid by the name of Aikawa Kanami winds up in a fantasy world operated by RPG video game rules-but this isn't good news. They begin making progress in the Dungeon, soon reaching undiscovered territory together! The Seven Celestial Knights, however, are all too quick to get in the way. They're hellbent on recovering Lastiara, who's fled their stifling clutches. Now Kanami finds himself having to duel them, but can he beat the elite? The wheels of fate turn ever faster in the second installment of this epic saga!

Titee, the Thief of Wind's Essence, stands in the way of Kanami's return to the surface! At the same time, the town of Viaysia is rolled back to its devastated state of a thousand years ago. Kanami, having finally defeated Palinchron, wakes up on the other side of the Dungeons sixty-sixth layer. He meets the Quinquagesimal Guardian, Tity, and realizes hes been asleep for an entire year. He begins to plan his escape with Liner, who ended up there with him. On their journey back up the Dungeon, they meet another Guardian, Nosfy, who seems to have been waiting for them. What actually happened in the past between Kanami and the Guardians? These two Guardians wishes remain unfulfilled, tying them to this reality. Misunderstandings abound as each new conversation hides more secrets, and the acceptance of fate leads to regrets. At the end of it all, just out of reach, a trial appears for one particular girl.

Kanami, Liner, and Titee have finally escaped from the Dungeon and reached the surface. They retrace the steps of their scattered friends and arrive in Whoseyards, which has changed dramatically in the year they were gone. Kanami meets his friends from the past and is finally reunited with his beloved Lastiara, but for some reason, she refuses to accompany him on his next journey. What path will Kanami take in the midst of a tangled relationship, reunions, and breakups a thousand and one years in the making?!

The Brawl is over, and Kanami has finally reunited with Lastiara and the others as himself. Now a band with a single purpose, they take to the seas on their new ship, the Living Legend, to evade their pursuers and hunt down Palinchron back on the mainland. Only this ship is a real powder keg, with a party primarily composed of girls who are major firebugs and then some! Moreover, Kanami has to grapple with the feelings more than one of those girls harbor for him, not to mention the one he might have a crush on. What's more, while dungeon diving to gain the strength to defeat Palinchron, Kanami bumps into a mysterious girl who reminds him of...Hine?! "Hello, nice to meet you. My name is Wyss Hylipröpe."
