Dragon God Chronicles

Long ago, the Dragon Gods founded the land of Yores. They drove out the monsters which lived within it and gave the land to their followers, who thanked the Dragon Gods and pledged to worship them for eternity. As time went on, however, the Yoresians grew proud and ceased worshipping the Dragon Gods, trusting instead in their magic. Thus, the Dragon Gods abandoned the Yoresians, which has turned out to be a mistake, for now the land of Yores is under attack from a powerful evil and the Yoresians cannot stand against it. Twin siblings Sarzen and Helnia, a warrior and a mage, set out to find the Dragon Gods, who they believe are their people's only hope of survival. But the quest ahead of them is fraught with dangers they can't even imagine, including a revelation about themselves that will shake their view of themselves and their leaders forever.

Sarzen Alnem and his friends have been desperately battling their way through the Cursed Lands, seeking any clue to the whereabouts of the missing Dragon Gods. Yet their quest seems increasingly fruitless until they run into a creature that claims that it can help them find the Dragon Gods, but only if they listen to its advice. Having no choice, Sarzen and his friends accept the creature's aid and begin searching for the hymn that will help them save their country. Upon arriving back in her city, Helnia Alnem finds herself branded a criminal by the corrupt and traitorous government, who try to arrest her to keep her from spreading the truth of their betrayal. Allying with a small group of rebels, Helnia must expose the government's betrayal to the people before the city falls to the hordes of monsters that would like nothing less than the total destruction of their society. But even if Sarzen and Helnia succeed in their quests, a dark truth about their true nature may shatter their relationships with their friends forever.

With his hope in the Dragon Gods shattered, Sarzen Alnem seeks another way to save his people from their mortal foes. A mysterious thief tells Sarzen and his friends of a legendary weapon known as the Salvation Sword, which could help them save their people from destruction. But to get to the Sword, Sarzen and his friends will need to travel even further than they already have, to the birthplace of humanity itself, and deal with the dangers that await them there. Helnia Alnem has settled back into normal life in the capital of her home country, but when one of her students is kidnapped by the monstrous Draymens, she must ally with a mad mage in order to save her student's life. And if she fails, then not only will her student die, but she herself will fall into the hands of her enemies, who intend to sacrifice her and her brother to resurrect their dark god. In the final book of The Dragon God Chronicles, revelations will be uncovered, questions will be answered, and the final conflict between good and evil will commence.
