Wings of Hope: A Story of Solidarity
Part 3 of the Corvidia series
Tornadoes rip though the small, peaceful Southeast valley called Corvidia. The little animal population is torn asunder and must struggle to survive. They must somehow recover from the terrible losses of the early spring catastrophe that has left many homeless and their families devastated. This is the amazing and true story of the selfless cooperation of this little community, of the birds and other animals who survived a massive tornado that hit the southeast in the early spring destroying trees and roofs as it hailed down destruction. The story describes how hope is restored to the community of birds when a lone cardinal adopts a young baby thrush blown into the community by the tornado and how other birds find and raise abandon young as they struggle against their own losses and predators. Wings of Hope makes the reader think about how, if animals can work together so well, why can't people?
