Code Name: Intrepid is a pulp-style action and adventure series set in the turbulent 1930s during the interwar period between the two world wars. Intrepid was formed by presidential order in 1932 to combat threats to the nation that "are outside the realm of normal occurrence, those menaces that are of unnatural or supernatural order." Think zombies and the like. The team is made up of highly trained individuals from the Army and Navy, as well as exceptional professionals from the civilian community. The team reports to the fictitious Office of Special Actions of the US War Department and works closely with the Department of the Navy. There is a core team of five full-time members and a cadre of as-needed consultants. They get intel from F.B.I., Army G-2, and The Office of Naval Intelligence.
