Big Bad Wolves

Peter "Penis" Caldwell (nickname bestowed courtesy of popular jock, Jackson Davis) didn't necessarily have a lot of things going for him. 1. See "Penis." 2. He attended high school in a small town that was as bigoted as it was boring. 3. He was maybe, sort of, a little bit (a lot) gay. None of that meant, however, that Peter was prepared for the consequences when he is bitten by a giant wolf during a reckless night of teenage adventure. Consequences that smack him right in the face when he is simultaneously saved and snatched by a mentally-imbalanced man who's convinced that he's a long-distance relation of Jacob Black. That's right: werewolf. Mr. Big and Bad claims Peter is one, too, now that he's bitten him. Forced to adjust to pack life in a hidden society, Peter's not sure what he longs to do more: throttle the man who's bitten him and ruined his life so conclusively, or throw himself on Mr. Big and Bad's ridiculously firm lap. In Peter's eyes, Damon Prince was a lot of things. 1. A fierce, dangerously capable alpha. 2. An annoyingly (endearingly) protective asshat. 3. The sexiest man on the planet. (He was a pretty good kisser too.) Damon would argue that Peter ought to add big, bad wolf to the list. Emphasis on the bad part. Damon had never made to hide the fact that he was the villain in the strange, supernatural turn Peter's life had taken since being bitten. He had shoved that little tidbit down Peter's throat even. (Peter wished the man would consider shoving other things down his throat-things that weren't "little" in the slightest.) He took every opportunity to remind Peter of his violent past, to hammer it through his skull that he wasn't a good guy. That there was blood on his hands. But the thing of it was, Peter had never truly believed him. (How could he when those supposedly blood-stained hands were always so gentle with him?) Peter had long ago come to the conclusion that Damon wasn't nearly as big and bad as the man wanted him to think . . . until suddenly, he was. Contains mature themes.

Shock. It was an emotion Peter had grown disturbingly familiar with over the past year. So familiar that he thought he had mastered the feeling by now. Case in point: 1. Werewolves exist? Sure. 2. He was one now? Whatever. 3. Brom, Chad, Knave (insert name here) wanted to assault, kidnap, and/or kill him? Not ideal, but Peter had dealt with it all like a champ. 4. Damon was convinced they were soul mates and wanted to pin him to the floor (bed, wall, any surface would suffice really) and have filthy, mind-blowing sex with him until his brain leaked out of his ears? Who was Peter to complain? But this . . . ? No. Peter drew the line at mystical, self-generating wombs. Last time he had checked, he was a man with man parts-and he'd frickin' show you if you didn't believe him, thank you very much. It wasn't physically possible for him to be . . . he wasn't . . . Jesus Christ, he couldn't even think the word in his own head. Pregnant, his inner voice whispered traitorously. Contains mature themes.
