The Witches' Brew, Devious Gurus & Pied Piper Seducers Part 1 and 2 sketch an honest and no-holds-barred prophetic reality of the state of the Church and the dangers she faces. Make no mistake, we are living in times of great deception and apostasy, and the Church has been seduced, manipulated and tricked into believing the devil's schemes, lies and foolish wisdom and also to embrace wilfully such a diabolical agenda. For ignorance is not bliss when it comes to obeying and heeding God's command to walk in God's truth, perfect will, holiness, way and life. God is not a liar, yet we have heeded the dark and destructive temptations of this world. We are lost at sea, tossed to and fro by every wind of teaching. Spiritual gurus and deceptive 'pied pipers' have woven their 'magic' to beguile believers to embrace a different reality and truth. So many people in churches these days are willing to drink from a poisonous cup. And the poison is not literal, but a devilish concoction of mixing the Gospel with New Age teachings, paganism and even the occult! Because of the actions of so many spiritual leaders and even politicians dating back to Constantine, the devil has been allowed to camp inside the church, just as the Jewish elders were busy with witchcraft in the heart of the tabernacle (Ezekiel 8). For so many hundreds of years, the devil has managed to work his 'magic' within the ranks of the church. Preacher Charles Spurgeon is credited with saying, "A time will come when instead of shepherds feeding the sheep, the church will have clowns entertaining the goats." Such a time has been with us for a while. The Lord is seeking those who will only listen to Him, and not dance to the malicious tune of idolatry and spiritual apostasy. Shall we seek the true eternal Kingdom, or a kingdom of spiritual quicksand, peril, and self-destruction? Are we following the Spirit of God and grounded in God's Word, or are we led astray by the spirit of error and the macabre melody of the world's narratives? Ps Riaan Engelbrecht is the founder of Avishua Ministries and also the vice-president of Lighthouse Ministry. It has been a while since the Lord spoke about restoring the tent of meeting. To understand this, we need to understand that before the church, there was the Temple, and before the Temple, there was the tent of meeting in the days of Moses. The tabernacle of meeting evolved in the physical Temple built by Solomon, which evolved among the Gentiles to be mostly church buildings. With the stages of development, especially among Gentiles, the very essence of the tabernacle of meeting, as in the days of Moses, got lost among the sands of time. The tabernacle in the wilderness was about God meeting with man, and where man could enjoy the presence of the Lord. By the shed Blood of the Lamb, God's presence is now not contained within a physical structure, for God now makes His home within man by the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, as believers, we have BECOME the tabernacle of meeting. Through our interpretation of the church, the tabernacle today sadly remains a physical structure instead of a spiritual one. The church of today has evolved away from the foundational concept of divine interaction, relationship and Covenant participation, which forms the spiritual tabernacle (house) in service to God. It is time to rediscover God's true intent and purpose for the Tabernacle, and how we are to restore what has fallen and become lost over the centuries. Written in these pages is not doctrine or dogma. It is neither intended as an in-depth history nor a philosophical lesson, even though a greater study in these fields will lead to a greater understanding of the winds of change over eras. This is but a burning cry within my spirit for the Bride to awaken from her slumber for we live in a world where God and faith are under attack. These pages reveal the spiritual struggles over history, attempting to show how a multitude of dark spiritual doors have been forced ajar by myriad and continuous tragic events during history to undermine the existence and work of God. We need to wake up and realise times are becoming tougher to be a child of God. To stand for our faith is not easy. The world has labelled God as cruel, despite denying His existence! As it has been for many hundreds of years, the ways of Jesus are regarded as offensive and there are calls for it not to be censored, curtailed and even terminated at all costs. Philosophers, academics and scientists may think God does not exist, while the narratives of the world may proclaim such a lie, but the truth is that God is real. He is alive. He is a personal God who loves us. Believers need to stand up and declare God is not dead. We need to be aware of the attacks and onslaughts against God, His truth, and His Kingdom. God is love. He remains the redemption and hope for all who call upon Him!
