A living legend accused of sabotage. Three hundred years ago a liaison robot turned warrior sided with humans in the Great A.I. War. He's one of few hi-level sentients allowed to live. But all this doesn't matter now because he's on the run. And the innocent never run. Armed with emotion chip-fueled determination and his beloved weapons, the general flees to a nearby planet where he must unravel a tangled conspiracy to prove his innocence. That, and the fact he's built from the most precious ore in the galaxy, puts a giant target on his back. An overwhelming opponent finds the general and sets an ambush, demolishing the small contingent of ships under his control. Fleeing to a desert planet, the general searches for lost crew and the only ship to survive the attack, a war galley. As word gets out, bounty hunters pour on-planet hoping to claim the grand prize; the general's head on a platter. But darker plans are at work. A strange and ancient cult takes advantage of the chaos and breaches a portal from a forgotten, mysterious realm to the present. On the planet, the general battles his way to a desert oasis to make a last stand to prevent the destruction of a peaceful desert community. He and his crew battle against para-military, bounty hunters, and a resurrected evil that should've stayed dead.

A lost colony ship is found. General Mikeal leads an exploratory mission and finds one of Earth's colony ships lost for over five-hundred years on the other side of an unknown galaxy. Staff Sergeant Felina Vasquez and her fire team volunteers to accompany on the scouting mission. She can run across the universe but she can't run away from her mind. Personal demons haunt her.
