The Jack of Spades

In a marginalized New Orleans, a private eye reluctantly investigates two murders - one present day, one thirty years old. But even as detective Jack Spade encounters French Quarter jewelers, bayou drunks, socialites, prostitutes, fortune tellers, corrupt police lieutenants, and homicidal Mardi Gras jesters, - he can't ignore the mounting evidence that his father may have been involved.
