Tailor

Tailor is a dramatic Greek comedy about innovating to the extreme to keep a small business afloat. Nikos, the namesake of the film's title, is the last hope for his father's enterprise: a reputable tailor shop which makes custom men's suits...but is unable to remain solvent due to the changing times. Long in arrears with payments to their lender, the bank informs the father and son team that they must foreclose on their assets. Making matters more complicated, the father suddenly falls ill, leaving Nikos to figure out by himself how to get cash coming in and quick. Niko's luck holds up when his neighbor, Olga, reveals a talent for sewing and a desire to enter the garment business. They quickly team up and begin producing extravagant bridal wear that becomes the rage of Athens...much to the dismay of Olga's jealous husband, who hardly approves of their relationship. Naive at first, Nikos quickly learns the rough and tumble world of entrepreneurship isn't for the faint of heart.
