Dinner at Eight

Hollywood legend Lauren Bacall stars in this stylishly updated version of a classic comedy. High-strung social-climber, Millicent Jordan and her husband plan an elaborate dinner party. Their celebrity guest list includes a romance novelist, a ruthless tycoon and his brassy young wife, and a Hollywood has-been. But a rash of cancellations and unexpected events turn the Jordans' elegant soirée into a first-rate disaster.
