Diary of a Madman

In this grim, intelligent chiller, Simon Cordier (Vincent Price) is a magistrate who chooses to visit a condemned prisoner on the eve of his execution. Claiming to have been possessed by an evil spirit named Horla, Girot swears his innocence, but Cordier shows no mercy, refusing to believe him, and, astonishingly, the man dies upon the spot. Over the following days, the magistrate bears witness to a number of peculiar happenings in his own home and soon begins to fear for his own sanity.
