Bill, a man wrongfully imprisoned after being framed by a gangster is involuntarily involved in a jailbreak organized by the gangster leader. The escape attempt fails, and the gang is recaptured, but Bill manages to escape into the desert. He is befriended by a stray dog and they eventually make their way to the small town of Tempe, Arizona where he attempts to build his new life.

The film follows the story of Bill, a man who is wrongfully imprisoned and must go on the run to prove his innocence. He is sentenced to prison for his involvement in a bank robbery, but he is innocent and was framed by gangster Joe Mallon, who was the real mastermind of the robbery. While in prison, Carver is involved in a jailbreak organized by Mallon and he manages to scape to the desert leaving the gang members behind and recaptured. He will make friends with a Dog on the way and will name it Wolf. Together they get to a small town where he will star rebuilding his life. He will meet Linda, a lovely lady that offers him a job. When the real crime perpetrators break free from prison, he will be determined to bring them to justice in order to live peacefully.
