U.S. Marshal John Carruthers is on the trail of a gang of bandits. When he witnesses a robbery, Sheriff Jake mistakenly believes Carruthers might be involved. As Carruthers works to clear his name, he discovers that the town's respected citizen is the mastermind behind a plan to rob the community. With time running out, Carruthers must unmask the real villains, save the town's money, and prove his innocence.
