Beast Is Loose

An ex-crook, Paul Lamiani, nevertheless still "in the know", has gone into the restaurant trade. The MI5 ask him to help them track down certain interesting documents which are with little doubt in the hands of an old friend of Paul's, Raymond Maroux. Having hesitated to betray his friend, they end up fighting together against a rival group. Badly wounded, Maroux recommends that Lamiani watch over his wife Nadine. But his wife's attitude leads one to believe that she knows everything about the documents. She ends up by giving them back to him, but soon afterwards Paul's young son is kidnapped by gangsters. Now it is Lamiani who will need the MI5's help...
