A Girl Out of the Country

Raised in a rural area, Feng defies her grandmother's objections and runs away to Taipei to become a singer, only to be trafficked as a prostitute in Japan. Years later, upon returning to Taiwan, she discovers her elderly grandmother suffering from dementia.
