The Ex

Moving from New York City to Madison, Wisconsin, after the birth of their baby, Tom and Sofia have to adjust to their new roles: Sofia, formerly a high-profile Manhattan attorney, is now a stay-at-home mom, and Tom, who's tried and lost many a job because of his tendency to speak his mind, is now working at the ad agency where Sofia's dad, Bob, works. As Tom discovers that his mentor, Chip Sanders, is actually trying to sabotage him (though not as much as Tom inadvertently sabotages himself), he realizes that maybe advertising isn't for him--just as a frustrated Sofia begins to realize that maybe she's not the stay-at-home mom type.
