The Baxter

BAXTER (bax'-ter) n. A compromise to "true love." The epitome of "settling." Shorthand for a bachelor with lots of exes, who's kind of a loser. Meet Elliot sherman, a conservative, risk-averse guy, played by Michael Showalter who is more anxious than ever before his wedding to Caroline (ELIZABETH BANKS), the girl of his dreams. The arrival of Caroline's hunky ex-boyfriend (JUSTIN THEROUX) does nothing to ease his fears, but determined to avoid being "the Baxter" once again, this time Elliot enlists someone who can help -- his eccentric temp who's wild at heart and full of romantic advice (MICHELLE WILLIAMS). With her guidance and the help of his friend Ed (MICHAEL IAN BLACK), maybe Elliot will finally and get himself a bride in this charming romantic comedy.
