Hamilton's Journey

Only very unlucky manatees are given a name - and the young Hamilton is a living example of this. 600 kilos of pure friendliness, a manatee is not exactly a paragon of beauty, but surely the friendliest giant in Florida's crystal waters. Aggression is completely alien to them. But the world bears a lot of dangers - and Hamilton gets to experience this firsthand. As a baby he lost his mother in an accident, which also left him with severe injuries. After two years in a manatee hospital, he is finally released - just on time for another near-death experience... But Hamilton is a go-getter, and his outstanding will to survive brings the film to a touching happy ending.
