Charlie Steel

When Dlamini's daughter, Dudu, is kidnapped for ransom, he calls on his old friend Charlie Steel, a renowned Private Investigator. Charlie attempts to infiltrate the gang responsible, but is soon exposed by one of his ex-army comrades, a vicious murderer by the name of Jimmy, working for the gangster known as Sonny. With the help from Tony, one of Sonny's men who has fallen in love with Dudu, Charlie manages to take the gang down, killing Jimmy and avenging the murders he committed back in the war. Dudu is finally saved and Sonny brought to justice, but at great cost, as Tony is shot and killed in the climactic sequence at the end of the film.
