California is one of the biggest hotspots for domestic and international human trafficking because of its large metropolitan population, international borders, rich economy, and extensive ports. This feature documentary recounts true stories of girls and boys who were commercially sexually exploited in California and are now survivors and courageous leaders fighting for the rights of victims worldwide. Highlighting heroic stories from abolitionist and advocates who work night and day to protect children and to put an end to this epidemic, this film shares an empowering message of how each survivor took control of their life, becoming strong leaders and champions of change.
