Acclaimed filmmaker Curtis Hanson (L.A. Confidential) and Academy Award®-winning screenwriter Eric Roth (Forrest Gump) deal viewers into the game with this high-stakes drama set in the world of professional poker. Eric Bana (Troy, Munich) plays a gifted young gambler who gets a few lessons in risk and reward from a struggling Vegas singer (Drew Barrymore – Charlie's Angels) and her sister (Will & Grace's Debra Messing). Now on a collision course with his estranged father (Oscar® winner Robert Duvall) in the World Series of Poker, Bana presses his luck in a world where there are only winners and losers.
