Ritter portrays a womanizing, drunken alcoholic writer who's life seems to be falling apart at the seams. He's still in love with his ex-wife (whose family can't stand him), writers block keeps him from completing his latest novel, & he finds himself in trouble with the law, his ex's & their jealous boyfriends.
