A strong cast brings a special electricity to this Blaxploitation thriller. It's all about a black actor who borrows money from the Mafia in order to finance his own movie production, but no one gets involved with the mob without a few hitches! Calvin Lockhart, Vicki Baltimore, and Beverly Johnson give solid performances under the direction of Phillip Fenty, the screenwriter behind the seventies classic Super Fly.
