What Lies Within

These and other stories lie within. A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Tom Gething received a B.A. in English literature from the University of Arizona in 1975. After a year teaching in Mexico, he earned an MBA at the Thunderbird School of Global Management and spent a career in international business before pursuing fiction writing in earnest. "Under a False Flag" is his first novel. Though primarily based on historical research, the novel builds on his experience living, working and traveling in Latin America. In 2008 he published a short story, "What Lies Within," in the Soundings Review and his story "Sabotage" appeared in the July 2012 issue of the Barcelona Review. He lives in the Seattle area.
