As usual, I took a step too far onto the wild side.
Now I have to make amends.
As the main attraction in a celebrity auction at a fundraiser that should be easy.
When I meet the chair of the orphanage my good intentions melt under the heat of the sparks flying between us.
Maria clearly wants me to disappear from her sight.
I want to teach her to loosen up and enjoy life; preferably in my bed, following my orders.
Judging by the way our bodies sizzle every time we touch, that won't be a problem.
Except, Maria has serious issues believing in me because of the darkness in her past.
