In the dawn of creation, Mother Earth and Father Time shaped a world of wonder and danger in equal measure. From their hands came the Fae-creatures of air, flame, stone, and tide-born to balance the chaos they could not tame. But harmony never lasts. Pride grew restless, envy found its voice, and the first great division split the world between Fairy and Faerie.Across forests older than language and cities carved from stone, unlikely souls are drawn toward an ancient power called the Chrysalis-a relic that grants what the heart truly asks, and tests the heart that asks it. A Guardian who carries mercy like a weapon. A soldier who no longer believes in peace. A noble haunted by lineage. A gardener who speaks the tongue of flowers. A girl who mistakes power for purpose. Each must learn what it means to keep faith when the cost of doing so is everything. The world they inherit is one of rules that bind as tightly as chains. Magic answers truthfully, not kindly. Names hold weight, and every promise leaves a mark. The woods reward respect and devour arrogance. And yet, amid the ancient laws and the echoes of old wars, there is tenderness-the small, defiant kind that keeps the world from breaking.Asking what becomes of power when it forgets mercy? It is about loyalty that bends but does not break, courage that stumbles but endures, and the long patience of the earth itself. The road begins at a farmhouse and ends with a choice.
