There are so many self-help books out there today and they all have a purpose and an audience. For the author, writing this book opened his wounded heart and it allowed him to get his story out there. By writing down his story and sharing it with others, he realized just how many people had hidden a lifetime of pain inside. If he can find daylight at the end of the tunnel, so can anyone else. If his book serves to help other people to open up and heal as well, it has served its purpose.
