Tom the Owl

Tom the Owl lives all alone in the desert. He doesn't know how he got there, but he stays stubbornly content exactly where he is until a pink Cadillac convertible passes by on the dusty road near his mesquite tree on a hot, dry day and leaves him an accidental gift. Of course, like so many gifts do, Tom's gift changes him instantly. Out of curiosity, which owls always have, and extreme loneliness, Tom looks the gift over, then follows the car.
