About

A short fictional story about a woman involved in a hit and run accident. Janet is left unconscious and consequently suffers a head injury. She is carrying no identification with her at the time of the mishap but she is carrying a wedding veil in a plastic shopper bag. The story looks at some of the effects of a head injury and the human emotions and reactions of the patient, her helpers, the nursing staff and the attitudes of the driver who did not stop to help. I am an Australian fiction writer and artist.Originally from Maitland, near Newcastle, I have lived in Central West NSW for more than forty years. Many things inspire my creative pursuits - my life experiences, country and coastal locations and travel. One of the hardest things when writing is choosing the right name for characters. In 2012, I self-published one of my novels called The Jasper Plate. This novel is available for purchase as a paperback, a hard-cover book and also as an ebook. (Online, visit The Book Depository, Amazon or the Xlibris online bookstore to order, or order from any good bookstore).
