At six years old, Jabari Thomas made a promise at his dying mother's bedside: he would find a cure. Thirteen years later, the nineteen-year-old medical prodigy has kept his word. He has engineered the Prodigy Protocol, a revolutionary nanotechnology capable of repairing cellular damage and curing diseases from the inside out.
But a universal cure threatens the foundations of the trillion-dollar healthcare industry.
When his research is compromised, Jabari is framed as a bioterrorist and hunted across New York City. With the only complete copy of the Protocol hidden on his person, he is forced into the city's unforgiving underground. There, he forms an alliance with Kai, a resourceful teenager fighting to save his own sick sister. Meanwhile, Jabari's father faces down federal agents and corporate operatives above ground to protect his son. Pursued by a pharmaceutical empire that wants to bury the cure, a corporation that wants to monopolize it, and a covert agency that wants to weaponize it, Jabari must survive the labyrinth beneath the streets.
The Prodigy Protocol is a gripping thriller that asks a chilling question: if a cure existed for everything, who would control it?
