About

Near death at birth Wade's struggle to overcome adversity started right in the very beginning. The continuing neglect and abuse by his parents were only compounded by the abuse from his older sibling that was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. Set on a path of self-destruction Wade faced near death circumstances that forced him down a different path in life. Enrolled in the US Army at the young age of seventeen, he finds himself back in school to make up for the past. Military life gave Wade the discipline that he needed and a comfortable relationship with alcohol that he didn't. Shipped to Alaska, Wade finds a home. An artist by hobby, an award-winning snow-sculptor by chance, and an Alaskan because of love. He finds his soulmate and settles down to start a family, but life is not done testing Wade. Diagnosed with a debilitating disease, he finds himself fighting adversity again, the struggles Wade had with the medical industry in his youth are just as bad as an adult. After twenty years of alcoholism, sobriety has brought back all the memories that were suppressed, and it was those memories that gave Wade an understanding about the little things in life.
