The Light in Darkness is a collection of poems that germinated out of the need to provide suitable material for the many performing groups that Williams has worked with since 1973 to the present.
The poems border on his life's experiences as well as on the lives of the people he interacted with. Life has have been hard and many times blindingly dark. The poems touch some of these dark places, but we are not to despair because behind each dark cloud, there is a silver line.
The collection is Caribbean flavored, served on a spiritual platter.
