Five friends. One murder. And a weekend they'll never forget...
When four former schoolfriends receive an anonymous invite to a reunion at a beautiful country house they guess it's from Elle, the self-appointed leader of their little gang.
Is this her attempt to rekindle old friendships after suddenly disappearing from their lives when they were teenagers?
The mystery deepens when Elle's a no-show at her own party, and the others begin to wonder why she's summoned them at all.
Undeterred, they grab the chance to spend two days reminiscing and reconnecting away from their humdrum lives.
Until they make a shocking discovery in the cellar of the house and it becomes clear all is not as it seems. And Elle isn't the only one with secrets to hide...
The Invite is the twisty, addictive story of friendship and revenge by A J McDine, author of The Baby.
