Escaping death should have been the final act of Commander Faith Benson's career. Resuscitation technology makes death temporary for essential personnel, and after her run-in with Azoren Federation Marines, Faith finds herself in that position. But she's revived for a specific purpose: a mission that's just as hopeless as the one that killed the Pandora crew.
