Billy Taylor is a kid like any other in the Mertland Childrens' Home. An orphan since birth, he's grown up alone, a part of "the system". He had a close friend for a while, but Kelly's been gone for almost a year, and when he left, he took the other half of Billy's walkie talkie set. Billy's walkie has been lost and forgotten, until one day it appears again, and someone is on the other end. C. Dennis Moore is the author of the Angel Hill novels, the Monsters of Green Lake series, as well as the Holiday Horrors. He lives in St. Joseph, MO with his wife, Kara. They have seven children and three grandchildren.
