No amount of good publicity can save you from a bad reputation.
Visibility does not equal credibility, and "doing more PR" will not solve the problem. But the solution is closer than you think (spoiler alert-it's you!). Award-winning public relations strategist Glynnis Woolridge reveals how to see beyond surface issues and dig deeply to inspect the condition of your character, the foundation on which your reputation-and everything else-rests.
PR Proverbs: Your Launch Pad for an Exceptional Personal and Professional Reputation shows you how to repair and refine your reputation so you can soar.
A damaged foundation cannot bear the weight of your dreams and aspirations. However, an exceptional reputation breeds trust, opens doors and multiplies favor. Woolridge melds scripture from the Book of Proverbs with her own life and career lessons to create an easy-to-digest book filled with straight talk, humor and big dose of common sense.
Within each chapter of PR Proverbs are gems of wisdom that will show you how to: • Identify and reconcile the disparity between how you see yourself and how others perceive you • Change negative perceptions before they become permanent problems • Listen to, understand and establish fruitful relationships with your audiences • Build an exceptional reputation that will pay dividends now and in the future
Whether you're an employee or an entrepreneur, a community leader or a mentor, building your own brand or are the CEO of a brand known around the world, the wisdom of PR Proverbs will give you the tools you need to rise higher and build a living and lasting legacy.
