In this Thriller Short, New York Times bestselling author Beverly Barton releases a riveting read where little is as it first seems. Olivia Lynn Warren, an interior decorator, was just going to drop off some color swatches with a client. How could she have known she'd stumble upon an argument, a murder and a rushed escape? And then came the threats, attempts to make Olivia the next victim. Jed Merrill, a cop, was the one who saved her life the night of the murder and then relied on her to make his case. But now Olivia has been poisoned, and it appears Jed is responsible. Is he really trying to kill her?
