A close‐knit, small‐town community in the mountains, grapples with the destructive force of Hurricane Helene. In the wake of a natural disaster, a diverse cast-including the earnest pastor Wesley, a grieving young man Thad, and several community members-is forced to confront personal loss, lingering guilt, strained relationships, and spiritual doubts. Amid the chaos of broken infrastructure and emotional turmoil, they must find ways to rebuild their lives through faith, community support, and individual healing. Anthony lives in western North Carolina with his wife. His daughter and grandkids live too far away, and his neighbors live too close.
