"Misfit Lil … What a terrific name for a character, eh? This book belongs to an endangered species: the Western. As for the story: totally professional, as you would expect, and a lot of fun. The author knows how to do the job. Ms Lil has appeared before, and doubtless will again." - Grumpy Old Bookman, Guardian top ten blogger"Misfit Lil isn't just a strong character, but a strongly written one, too. Chap O'Keefe hits the right balance of spirit and vulnerability, power and weakness, and humor and seriousness … In a genre rife with male heroes, it's a pleasure to read about a female hero for a change. I look forward to going back to the beginning of the series and catching up with all of Lil's adventures." - Cullen Gallagher at Pulp Serenade"Misfit Lil makes an engaging lead character." - Steve Myall at Western Fiction Review"Man, that was fun, especially the explosive ending! I really like Misfit Lil." - James Reasoner, New York Times bestselling author
