When celebrity skyball star Manorin Longhorn arrives in Ever to interview for our coaching position, I have one rule-don't engage. He's my ex from centuries past, a brash male whose heart I shattered when I walked away, and it would be completely inappropriate for me to date a prospective employee.
But the moment I see Nor again, the chemistry is undeniable, and I'm in big trouble since he's staying at the Annabelle Inn right under my nose. When he offers me a sexy no-strings arrangement, telling me I deserve a little fun, I know he's right. We settle on just one rule-all fun, no feelings.
Those horns still make the perfect handlebars, and the way Nor bends me over his desk proves some things never change. But this older, more experienced version of him doesn't just take-he commands with quiet dominance and devastating control, and I'm helpless to resist the delicious surrender.
Lingering looks and stolen trysts quickly turn into something that feels dangerously close to true romance. This isn't the reckless male I once knew; this Nor is older, more confident, and everything a succubus could want in a partner. Our arrangement was only supposed to be a filthy secret for a few weeks while he's in town, but tender moments and the way he supports me threaten to undo everything I've built to protect my heart.
Time is running out. Ever's not the only haven courting Nor for a coaching position, and every scorching night together brings us closer to goodbye. When it becomes clear that our fling is so much more than just a dirty little secret, Nor asks for a chance to win my heart again.
But so much hangs in the balance if our love fails. He says sometimes second chances are worth the risk, but if I surrender completely and he leaves, will there be anything left of me to salvage?
Misbehaving with Minotaurs is a steamy second-chance romance where there's a guaranteed happily ever after! It is the eighth and final book in the bestselling Haven Ever After cozy but spicy monster romance series!
